Rules with this program (this should ward off would be scammers):
1. You must use the tell a friend script above. Eventually, I might be willing to create an official affiliate program with this site with affiliate links and all, but I won't do that without a good conversion rate of customers (or visitors who buy from my advertisers). After all, it does cost money to use services like Linkshare, clickbank, etc. The tell a friend script has a special script that logs each time a visitor refers someone to my site.
2. Your referral(s) must buy from at least one of my advertisers. Some advertisers pay on a per lead basis as well. I will plan on creating an earnings schedule page and stats page over time so that you will know how much each of my advertisers pay.
3. I must be able to verify the transactions (which should work perfectly if they use my referral links). If the transactions do not show up on my records, I can't credit your account. By the way, this should discourage link theft, were your referrals go through say your referral links instead or if they go directly to the advertisers' website without going through my links.
4. Once you refer people to my site who buy from my advertisers, I will need to know your valid name and address and who to make the check out to each month (this way, I will know who and where to send the check to at the end of each month). Failure to do so will result in a delay in your payments (for example, if I sent you a check to the address you supply to me, but it gets returned as a bad address, I will need to know your correct address before sending it). By the way, if you do not supply your contact info, then I can't pay you since I would not know who to pay or where to send the check to. By the way, I also have a paypal account, but I got scammed earlier last month, and my paypal is put on hold until that case is resolved, but once it comes back online, I might be willing to pay you via paypal as well.
5. Returns will come out of both my commissions and yours too. For example, if your referrals buy say a $120 Xbox 360 and I make $50 for that sale, and you make $15 for that sale, but he/she returns it for a refund, those refunds come out of my commissions, and will come out of yours too.
6. For some of my advertisers (like GDI) that offer free trials, some advertisers pay on a per lead basis (which I can divide with you), while others will require the free trial to upgrade to a paid member account before paying out commissions. Under those systems, I will only pay you if the free trial you refer to my site upgrades to a paid account at the end of thefree trial. GDI is an example of this. All new members at GDI get a 7 day free trial, and after that, they pay $10 per month that they use their services. If the free trial cancels at anytime within the 7 days or never upgrades to a paid memberhip at the end of those 7 days, I will not make a commission for that suscription and neither will you.
7. With downline systems like GDI, Zenzuu, etc, you will actually make more money if you signed up under me and promote the system yourself. You can join GDI at www.website.ws/ryansjones. Whenever you or your downline members refer new members to GDI that get a web hosting plan, you will make $1/month for each of those referrals (and the downline system does span at least 5 levels deep). Under the traditional revenue sharing program, you would only make $.30 per month per referral (since 10% of $10 is $1/month).
8. Thou shalt not spam people. You are free to invite friends, your subscribers (if you have a mailing list) and others you think might benefit from this site. Send invites to random people that you do not know is considered spam and if I get complaints about that, there will be consequences, including: forfeiture of your cut, suspending your participation in my program, or even banning you permanently. Please repect others, and do not spam random people, and we will get along just find.
9. I reserve the right to modify or discontinue this program at any time with or without cause.
