Compusa

 Compusa is one of several office suppliers I am an affiliate of.  They sell a wide range of equipment, including computers, tvs, video editing equipment, hardware and software for your computers, supplies to build your own computer, and plenty of other stuff for your electronic needs.  You know, at the high school I went to, we had a senior project that all seniors had to do and I ended up building a "frankenstein" computer for my senior project (the senior project can cover just about anything you want) with help with some Microsoft employees, and I got most of my supplies for that at Compusa.

 Do you need mailing supplies?  Current labels is geared exclusively for people needing supplies to mail stuff.  For example, if you are planning to send bulk mail to people for your business, obviously you will need things like address labels, stamps, and similar products.  Even if you are sending mail to people for personal reasons, you will still need mailing supplies and equipment.

 eSports online is one of several sporting good retailers that I am an affiliate (though not all of them will be featured on this page, since some of them are not featured at linkshare).  If you are looking for general sports gear and equipment, eSports Online is for you.  They sell foos ball tables, games, ping pong equipment, baseballs, basketballs, and plenty of other sports equipments.  Companies like this one can be extra handy if you are an athlete and need gear for your sports, whether it is football, golf, baseball, soccer, hunting, or even tennis.

 Looking for premium applications to download on your smartphone (smartphones only)?  Please be sure to check out what Handango has to offer.  The company offers a wide range of applications that you can download and use on your very own smartphone, that might not be available elsewhere. All of the applications are brand specific to ensure that they are compatible with the phone you use (in fact, you will need to supply your phone brand information before shopping so that you will be able to get applications that are exclusively available to the phone you use), and there are plenty of different kinds of applications you can purchase and download at handango.  Also, the applications are geared towards multiple types of audiences, whether it is the hardcore gamer looking for the latest games to try out and play on their phones, or business men looking for calculators and related tools for their work.

Office Depot

 Office Depot is another of my affiliates that sell office and related supplies. Like Compusa, Office Depot also sells office supplies, computers, tvs, video editing equipment, cameras (like the one in the banner ad), software, and the like.  If you are looking for office supplies, feel free to compare Office Depot with the others.

Lipid Shield

 Lipid Shield is one of several online pharmacies that I am an affiliate of.  If you are looking for medical supplies, vitamins, etc, you could go to lipid shield, find products you want, and have them shipped straight to your door.

 This is another online department store geared towards women.  Feel free to compare Northern Reflections with Lane Byrant and As we Change.

 Magazine lovers might like what magazines.com has to offer.  The company offers generous discounted magazine subscriptions and packages for bargain prices (cheaper than you might pay if you subscribe directly with the magazine company you want).  For example, at Magazines.com, you could get say 10 People magazines for a measly $12 for the 10 magazines (packages will vary by magazine and offer).  Works with participating magazines only.

 Looking for premium flowers and related gift ideas?  Fleurop is just what you are looking for.  The company sells premium flowers and related gifts to people who are interested.

Pet Smart

 Pet Smart is one of several retailers (not all of them are from Linkshare) I am an affiliate of that sells a wide variety of pet supplies to pet owners.  I am pretty sure that you are familiar with Pet Smart, and so I will not get into all of the details about this company, but if you are looking for variety, Pet Smart is for you.

Pingo

 Do you have friends or family from other countries.  For example, if you are a high school student, do you have a crush on that canadian girl that you met at summer camp?  Maybe you are a college student, and have buddies from overseas.  Most colleges have diversity and not everyone is from the US (at the schools I went to, besides US citizens, I have also gotten to know fellow college students from elsewhere, including Norway, Canada, Mexico, Japan, and even Africa).  Also, calling people internationally can get extra expensive if you call people by normal means.  Pingo has custom calling cards that you can purchase and use to call people outside the country for very low rates (compared to if you did it through normal means).  Can be extra handy if you want to call people over seas, for example, and you do not want to rack up a huge telephone bill to pay later. This service can also be quite useful if you know if you are planning to take a trip outside the US (from US perspective) and want to stay in touch with your loved ones without having to rack up a huge phone bill.

Rush My Passport

 Are you planning to take a trip outside the use (from US perspective) any time soon?  Need a passport quickly?  Consider expediting your passport application with Rush My Passport.  The company is a service that aims to help people to get their passport processed and ready to go in as little as 24 hours (under ideal circumstance).  For example, if you anticipate a trip to say Mexico two weeks from now and need to get a passport, you could use Rush my Passport to get your passport in time.  By the way, carrying a passport or passport card on you will soon be mandatory here in the US if you are planning to go to Canada or Mexico starting next month.

Disclaimer: according to the website's terms of use (or TOS), you will need to allow at least a week or two for this service to work.  In otherwords, for example, if you are planning to go a business trip to say Japan at the end of this month (I don't know your schedule by the way or what your plans are), you should probably use this service as soon as possible.  Otherwise, if you wait till the day before you go to use Rush My Passport, you may or may not be able to get your passport expedited in time.  Ideally, you should allow at least 2 weeks minumum (or even a month) for this service to work correctly.  I am not responsible for procrastinators who wait till the last minute before using Rush My Passport and don't get it in time (your loss for waiting too long).  The sooner you use this service, the better if you anticipate a trip across the US border any time soon.

The Bunny Shop (part of Playboy)

 Are any of you playboy fans?  Shop the Bunny is a company that sells Playboy trademarked products, clothing and the like to its customers.  For example, if you are a lady looking to take after the models on Playboy, you could go to the site and get clothing and gear that mimicks what the playboy stars have.  They also have stuff for guys too.

 This is the last of several jewlers that I am an affiliate of via linkshare.  Since 1910 specializes in diamond jewelery and there are plenty of products you can get through this company. 

Smart Home

 Looking for gadgets for your home?  Be sure to check out Smart home.  The company sells things like alarm systems, custom switches, survelliance systems (can be extra handy if you live in a rough neighborhood, or where crime is a problem), and other cool gadgets for your place.

The Home Market Place

 The Home Market Place (aka the Miles Kimball company) is a hardware store that specializes in selling equipment and products exclusively for the home, whether it is kitchen wares, carpets, lumber, and the like.

Toshiba Direct

 Do you need a laptop computer any time soon?  Be sure to check out Toshiba direct.  My father actually has a toshiba laptop, and it is a pretty nifty computer and is great for both personal and business use.  By the way, I mainly used a laptop to build this website as it is convenient to use, and tends to be faster than desktop PCs.

Laptops can be extra useful for:

- college or high school students (a personal computer is a MUST have when it comes to doing homework, chatting with fellow classmates via say Myspace, researching stuff, and related uses, unless if you plan to mainly use library or computer lab computers).  Obviously, you can go without a personal computer in college, but you will still need to type up papers, do research online, etc via a computer, and the alternative to having your own computer is to use public computers, which means less privacy, more restrictions to comply with (such as having to look busy to avoid getting kicked out of the library),  as well as having to deal with time limits, which can become a nuisance when it comes to deadlines and if you don't have a lot of free time during library or computer lab open hours.  For example, if you have a research paper due the next morning that you are working on the night before (don't worry, I've been there, done that), and the computer lab or library closes before you are done, then you are SOL (how are you going to complete your paper if you don't have access to a computer outside library hours), unless if you get up extra early to complete your project, whereas if you had your own computer, you could almost stay up all night if you have to go get your paper done on time.

- people wanting their own computer, but don't want a traditional desktop computer.

-  people wanting something electronic to take notes with.  Can be handy with college lectures where people can use their own laptop for note taking.

TV Silencer

 Do you find the TV as a distraction when it comes to answering the phone in a timely fashion?  For example, does your girlfriend try to call you while you are playing say Call of Duty 4 with the volume turned up high enough not to hear the phone?  Or maybe you are expecting a phone call from the company you applied to work for and your prospective employer calls you while you are watching a football game.  TV Silencer is a service that offers to set up your TVs so that when the phone rings, the TV will go silent so that you can hear the phone ring.  Can be handy if you are anticipating a phone call that you can't miss.  Also, sometimes if you fail to answer the phone in a timely fashion, people do get angry, and so having a TV silencer can be extra handy if someone you know tries to call you and wants you to pick up.

 Here is another cellphone company that I am an affiliate of.  At Wirefly, you can browse, shop, and compare various brands of phone products.  For example, you could compare the Samsung IPHONE with the Verizon Blackberry, for example.  This site can be extra handy if you are the type that likes to research your options before buying.  WIth Wirefly, that task is simplied as they have a good sized collection of brands that you can choose from and compare to see what kind of phone is the right fit for you (after all, every cellphone company is different).  By the way, having a cellphone or smartphone is a must have now days as it is a very good way to communicate with loved ones, business contacts, and the like (I know my family members get upset whenever I "forget" my phone or if the call me and I don't pick up in a timly fashion when it is reasonable to do so).

 Shop Microsoft brand products straight from the source, the Microsoft Store. I am pretty sure that you are all too familiar with Microsoft, and so I don't really see a need to get into all of the details about Microsoft.  Microsoft has been around almost as long as the modern computer has been around (since the late 1970's) and sell quite a bit of useful products for computer users, including the Windows Series (the current one is Vista, but they are planning to release Windows 7 sometime soon), Microsoft Xbox 360 (perhaps the first good US made game system since Atari, as Japanese companies like Sony, Nintendo and Sega seemed to have dominated much of the pre-Xbox gaming eras).

 Here is another online gaming website I am an affiliate of.  Shockwave is perhaps the first of its kinds with lots of original games that you can play via flashplayer or shockwave player, watch videos, and more.  Sites like popcap games, www.flashplayer.com, and newgrounds got their inspirations from sites like Shockwave.  2 types of memberships available: free membership and unlimited membership.  Hard core games will probably want unlimited, since there are lots of features available in unlimited (such as being able to play the full versions of the featured games, as shorter versions are available to free members, competing for cash prizes, etc).

 Looking for golfing equipment and balls?  Knet golf takes used golfballs scattered throughout various golf courses and refines them into fine and fresh looking golf balls that are as good as new.  Plenty of other equipment as well.  Having extra golfballs on you can be handy if you like to play golf, by the way.

 Looking for legitimate ways (scam free) to make money on the internet?  You migth consider taking up affiliate marketing with affiliate networks like Linkshare.  Sign up is free and all you have to do is to supply your own website or blog (myspace will not work because the msplinks will disable affiliate links and because of their anticommercial use policies), join affiliate programs that participating companies have (some that you might recognize, like Sierra Club, Microsoft, and Diamonds International), post their ads on your website or blog, and whenever you refer customers to them you will get generous commissions per sale.  Need a website?  You can get one for a measly $10/month (which is cheap compared to many other web hosting companies) at  Global Domains International   (by the way, you will actually get 2 streams of income via GDI as they too have an affiliate program you can take advantage of and earn monthly commissions for each new member you refer to GDI that get a web hosting package through them, which would be in addition to the commissions you can make via linkshare).
