This website is an alternate version of the Snohomish Ebook Store website, which can also be found at www.ryansjones.com. I have decided to create an alternate version of the Snohomish Ebook Store website for these reasons:
1. to give it more of a professional feel. The other website was created purely with html (and I am not an expert with making professionally looking websites from scratch), and this site uses Site Builder 4.0, which is a nifty website building tool that makes it easier to make commercial websites (which is available to all Global Domains International members, which you can join at www.website.ws/ryansjones).
2. To give it a better domain name. www.ryansjones.com was the draft domain name I had for the ebook store website before I cam up with an official name for the site (originally, it was going to be RJ's Niche Market Website), but since much of the content that is being promoted are ebooks, I decided to rename it as the Snohomish Ebook Store (which is named after the area I am from), and so the new domain name is www.snohomish-ebook-store.net, which is a more appopriate name for this website. By the way, while the 2 sites will be similar at first, I plan to add exclusive new content to this site over time (though it will be a small site at first).
3. I want to see which site peoplel like more. In fact, when it comes time to renew domain names, the site with more interest will remain my main page.
What this site is about
As the name of this site implies, this is an affiliate website that hosts and promotes a variety of ebooks, which are large pdf files that are written by various authors that function much like regular books, but are electronically made (which means that they are paperless), can be downloaded on your PC and printed out as needed, and contain content that ordinary books do not (such as embedded videos, audio clips, live links, and other media that are not available in regular books). Also, ebooks are written and sold directly by the authors who have written them and they hire affiliates like myself to spread word about their works draw customers to their websites. Some authors write fiction, some are fitness gurus that offer expert advise on how to conduct the perfect workouts for your needs. If you have a dog or cat, professional dog/cat trainers have works full of professional advice on how to effectively raise, train and solve common behavioral problems they may have. And there are plenty of other authors who also have works covering a wide range of topics, including web marketing, dating and relationships, educational works (such as Rocket Spanish), and more. Initially, the selection will be small, but as more people grow interested in this site and what it has to offer, I plan to add more content over time. By the way, like regular books, ebooks are typically not free, and the prices are usually set by the authors themselves (which will vary by work and author).
What you need to get the ebooks you want:
1. go to www.adobe.com and get the latest adobe acrobat reader (they will not work without it).
2. browse ebooks on this site.
3. If you see ebooks that interest you, you can click on the link(s) to visit the author's website.
4. Purchase it from the author's website (make sure you safelist the author's domain name so that you can get the download instructions directly).
5. The work should be ready for download, and you can download it, read it, share it with others, etc (much like a regular book).
6. This is optional, but feel free to leave a comment or testimionial about the works you get for my readers to see.
